Me and my family are in Baltimore, Maryland, when we got this DM. You can pause to read if you would like to. Warning, it is a little long. I got it. Let’s try it and rate it.

We spent $115.82. My family gave the customer service a 10 out of 10. They said not only did the owner completely break down the menu, but she offered a bunch of free samples and house-made drinks that they make. She was just extremely nice. So I’m excited. I’mma show you everything I got, and we gonna try it. Rate it 1 to 10.

  • Truffle fries and roasted Brussels sprouts
  • Tenorio tin fish, which is tuna from Portugal, also comes with bread
  • Rotisserie chicken
  • L I B wings, which are curry fennel sauce-tossed wings
  • A broken down duck confit gumbo (deconstructed into the roux, greens, and confit potatoes with duck)
  • Pineapple lemonade

We gonna start with the half roasted chicken. You can see it’s dripping. This is a half roasted chicken, brushed with preserved lemon, garlic, and herb oil. We gonna go no sauce first.

Alright. This tastes like the butteriest lemon garlic. I don’t know what all this is, but it tastes fantastic. 9.2 out of 10. We starting high. Like, real high. Just the chicken alone? 9.5.

Next up, we got the truffle fries. Now, I love me some truffle fries. They are seasoned well, and they do taste hand-cut, but they take out, so they didn’t really hold up in the box. In the restaurant, I can see these being extremely high, so I’mma rate them extremely high, as if I got these at a restaurant. 8.5 out of 10. In the box like that, though, they like a 7.

Next, we gonna do the wings. This is a curry toasted fennel wing with spicy pepper sauce over house-made ranch.

Oh, oh, oh. It’s spicy, but the curry is bursting with flavor. The curry is very earthy, a little sweet too. You get the sweetness from the peppers, but then you get the spice. It hit my lips like my lips are tingling. Mmm. This ranch is very dill-forward. I give this an 8 out of 10.

This is a pineapple lemonade. Mmm. Boy, this type of stuff gets me in trouble. I’d drink this whole lemonade. A little sweet, it’s real fresh, it’s real pineapples, it’s very refreshing. 8.5 out of 10. Boy, I’d kill that lemonade.

Next up is the Brussels sprouts. This is exactly what I thought it was gonna be—sweet, crispy Brussels sprouts. I know it’s a very acquired taste. Not everybody messes with Brussels sprouts, but I do. It’s simple and straight to the point, and so am I. 7.9 out of 10.

This is the duck confit gumbo. This how I like my roux—I like my roux to be nice and brown. I’m sure there’s a presentation inside the restaurant, but this gonna be my presentation. Throw the roux right on top, sneak a little bite.

Haha. Well, the greens by themselves is a 9. And the potatoes with some duck, the greens, and the roux? This is insane. I love gumbo, and this is such a unique take on it, at least unique to me, because I’ve never had anything like this before. The duck is cooked to perfection. In my opinion, it’s seasoned extremely well. It’s not very fatty, it’s not gamey. The roux is seasoned too. These potatoes are crispy and seasoned. This whole thing has flavor throughout, from beginning to end. In my opinion, they balance extremely well. 9.6 out of 10. That’s fantastic.

This is the tin fish. I’m gonna put all the toppings on the bread. Now we are nice and dressed up. It’s not my favorite. The sauces are very vinegary and a little acidic too. There’s a lot of balance to the actual dish itself. And this bread? I wish this bread was toasted a little bit more. It’s a little floppy in my opinion. I finished it. 7 out of 10 overall.

Especially for this to be carry-out, up here, this one of my favorite restaurants I had in a while, and I’m happy we came. Thank you for the invite from the bottom of my heart.

And as always, after this, I pray. No—yeah. Oh, you didn’t hear? Yeah. Oh my goodness. Yeah. Awesome. I appreciate that. No promises that they reach a target audience.

God bless you. Have an amazing day. Y’all be safe.
