Keith Lee visits KOK Wings and Things in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after receiving an invitation. He spends around $41 and orders online, so he doesn’t experience much customer service firsthand. Inside the restaurant, there’s a lively party atmosphere with people dancing and enjoying themselves.

Keith orders a variety of wings with different flavors but notes that the wings weren’t labeled, making it difficult to identify the flavors. He tries several combinations:

  • Crucial and Double Dip Wings: Keith describes the wings as crispy and flavorful, even though they were heavily sauced. He tastes garlic honey barbecue and gives them an 8 out of 10.
  • Jerk Rasta Wings: These wings tasted mostly plain with a slight jerk seasoning, earning them a 7.5 out of 10.
  • Rebel and Honey Dip Wings: Keith says they are similar to the Crucial wings but with more garlic and onion flavor. He rates them the same at 8 out of 10.
  • Fries: He describes them as seasoned freezer fries and gives them a 4 out of 10.
  • Catfish Slider: Initially, it’s greasy, but the flavor and seasoning come through on the back end. However, Keith can’t get past the grease and rates it a 5 out of 10, noting that it would be good for soaking up alcohol.

I got it. Let’s try it and rate it 1 to 10. We spent around $41. I ordered online, and I don’t know how to access the receipt. Got some service, but we didn’t really see much because we ordered online.

On the inside, it’s a full party. Everybody’s dancing, they’re partying, they’re jigging, they’re doing… what do you call it? You said they were doing the chicken?

Yeah, the chicken wop.

They were chicken whopping, apparently. He said they were dancing on the ceiling, on the tables—dancing everywhere. This is a full party scene, not just a restaurant, and it’s outside.

I’mma show you what I got, and we’re gonna try it and rate it 1 to 10.

  • A five-piece mix: Crucial and Double Dip (those are two flavors).
  • A five-piece mix: Rebel and Honey Drip (also two flavors).
  • A five-piece mix: Jerk and Rasta.
  • And last but not least, catfish sliders.

Now, the flavors are all nicknames, so for the most part, I don’t know what is what, and they didn’t label anything. I really wish they would have labeled this because I have no idea what I’m about to eat.

This is the mix between Crucial and Double Dip—again, a five-piece mix. So it’s supposed to be two wings Crucial flavor and two wings Double Dip flavor, and then one wing, maybe like a Double Dip or Crucial. But these all look like the same flavor, so I have no idea what this is. It’s either Crucial or Double Dip.

It was a good-ass wing. It’s breaded really well. Even though it’s a lot of sauce, it’s still crispy, which is very surprising because it’s soaked in sauce. It tastes like a garlic honey barbecue. She did say it had garlic sprinkle on it, and that’s extra crispy. So, big bag, big bag.

This might be the Jerk Rasta or something else. It tastes like a plain wing, maybe a little jerk on the back end because it’s a little spicy. But it might just be a plain wing with a little bit of spice on it. It’s not a bad wing, but this whole time, I wish there was a lot more organization because I really have no idea what I’m eating. But whatever it is, it’s pretty good.
7.5 out of 10.

For me, this is either the Honey Dip or the Rebel. That’s a lot going on. It’s definitely like a honey barbecue. Again, very similar to the first one. The only thing different is that it’s got a little more flavor. I taste more garlic and a little more onion. But it’s very similar to the first one in my opinion.
I give it the same rating as the first one: 8 out of 10.

Just a fresh fry. In my opinion, this is a seasoned freezer fry.
4 out of 10.

You come here to party, get some party wings. I feel like they just need to have plain wings because some people in there are not caring about the flavors. They just want to dance, get off here, let’s dance, and eat some chicken wings.

This is a catfish slider. At first, I tasted a lot of grease, but on the back end, it’s a lot of flavor and seasoning, and it’s crispy. But I personally can’t get over the amount of grease that I’m tasting. In my opinion, it’s right in the middle.
5 out of 10. But if you drink a lot, I feel like that’s perfect—that’s gonna soak all the alcohol up.

Hey, last bit of it. Overall, I see exactly why this is a popular spot. Again, they in here cutting a rug, and I’m happy they’re happy.

And as always, after this, I pray and hope that they continue to reach their target audience. God bless you. Have an amazing day. Y’all be safe.
