Me and my family are in Indiana, and this is one of the most recommended spots since we’ve been here. Even past since we’ve been here, this has been recommended to me since last year.
I got it. Let’s try it and rate it 1 to 10.
We spent seventy-five dollars and ninety-seven cents. My family said the customer service was decent, but this is a hood spot, so expect hood customer service. Nonetheless, I’mma show you everything I got, and we gonna try it and rate it 1 to 10.
- Parmesan truffle fries
- Honey hot chicken
- Mac-loaded fries
- 10-piece ATO style wings, which is hot lemon pepper (I asked for 10, but we got nine)
- A 10-piece mango habanero (this is eight pieces)
They gave three sauce options: drizzle, drowned, or trenched. This one was supposed to be drowned, the other one was drenched.
I’mma start with the hot lemon pepper. It’s supposed to be half hot lemon pepper, half garlic pepper, but I think these are all lemon pepper. What was that? Hot. That’s all vinegar, like real, like, you know the vinegar. As soon as you bite it, you get it in your throat, and it makes you wanna go. It’s more like a red hot, super red hot. I wouldn’t even say red hot. It’s more like a mixture of Red Rooster and French Red Hot, but it got more kick to it. It’s spicy, but it’s all on my fingers. Oh. Oh. I got a little kick to it, girl.
It’s good. I like the breading, but some of the breading is making it soggy. Super soggy. And we literally in a parking lot. I think these might be the garlic pepper ones. That’s hot, ain’t it? Spicy. This might be garlic pepper. I don’t know what that is. It’s sweet. Real sweet. It’s a little garlicky, but it’s like a sweet teriyaki garlic, way more like a garlic pepper. It’s overly sweet, though. In my opinion, ATO wings are a little too vinegary for me. They are super spicy, and they do got flavor. For me, it’s still a good wing. I go 7 out of 10.
What you got? I’m gonna 7. These garlic pepper ones, on the other hand, are way too sweet for me. Don’t got much redeemable qualities, in my opinion. For me, this is like a 3 out of 10, but because I do like a sweeter wing, when I do barbecue sauce, I would give it like a 6.
Now, this is what I came for. Ha ha. Not gonna lie to you. This mac and cheese, chicken fries, cilantro sauce—I think it’s supposed to have a hot honey sauce on it. It was dropping everywhere. Mmm hmm. Is it seasoned? Mmm hmm. That’s a lot, though. Mmm hmm. I ain’t mad at it, though. Even mac and cheese by itself—this is a hood meal for sure. If I ever had one little Pepsi, it’s just fried chicken and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is good, though. It’s nice and creamy and cheesy, but at the end of the day, it’s just fried chicken and mac and cheese. But the hot honey sauce is good, too. So I’m at a solid 7.9, almost 8. That’s pretty good. You mess with it? Mmm hmm.
I don’t taste good fry. I don’t taste like grease. It’s heavy, don’t get me wrong. I’m about to go to sleep after. If you eat half of this, you’re going straight to sleep. If I’m not mistaken, it’s only 20 bucks. So for all this food, 20 bucks is a good deal, in my opinion.
I’ve already tried the fries with all this sauce on them. Fried fries. So, it’s a wrap. No truffle? No, it’s supposed to have truffle and garlic. This is French fries. And as you see, it’s just a little bit of garlic. This is a fry.
Last but not least are the mango habanero wings. That first one got way more kick than anything. I think it’s a little bit of sweetness. I wouldn’t necessarily say this is mango habanero, though. No, it’s giving more like jalapeno. Yeah, like a jalapeno popper. It’s a good one, you know? Yeah, I’m in the same range. 7.5.
I appreciate the recommendations, and I can’t wait to see what Indiana got in store for this.
God bless you. Have an amazing day. Y’all be safe.
