Atlanta Breakfast Club (Atlanta, Georgia) | Influencer Restaurant Review by Keith Lee

AI-Generated Summary: Keith Lee’s Atlanta Breakfast Club Restaurant Review Video

Atlanta Breakfast Club reviewed by restaurant food influencer

Keith Lee visits Atlanta Breakfast Club after arriving in Atlanta with a group of five adults and two kids. They spend $144.60 on the meal. While the food was good, he found the customer service rules a bit odd. The restaurant wouldn’t let them sit down after ordering takeout, and even when they decided to dine in, the waitress wouldn’t take any orders until everyone was seated. They could only place one order for the entire table, with no option for add-ons.

Food Review and Ratings:

  • Peach Cobbler French Toast: The French toast was only partially soaked in the French toast mixture, and the peaches were the only warm element. He found it just okay.
    Rating: 6/10
  • Breakfast Bowl (eggs, bacon, and potatoes): Simple but well-seasoned. He liked it, especially with hot sauce.
    Rating: 7.5/10
  • Biscuit: The biscuit was buttery and salty but very dry. Keith noted that butter and jelly had to be purchased separately, which he found odd for a breakfast place.
Rating: Not rated (commented on dryness)
  • Salmon Croquettes: With remoulade sauce, the salmon croquettes were good. The grits were seasoned well and were his favorite part of the meal.
    Rating: 7.8/10

Keith concludes by saying this was his favorite dish so far on the trip and is curious to see what the rest of his Atlanta visit will bring

First after playing ATL, the first place we went to is Atlanta Breakfast Club. I got it. Let’s try it and rate it 1 to 10. We spent $144.60. But granted, we got food for five adults and two kids.

The customer service was interesting. While the people were nice, the rules they had set were very unique to me. We ordered takeout, but when we came in, they said we couldn’t sit down, and there was no space at the bar for us to stay in. So we had to stand outside to order our food. Then, we decided we were just going to dine in.

But two people in our party stepped out for a second because, again, we were fresh off the plane. So, everybody was trying to get situated. The waitress, again she was nice, but she told us she couldn’t take any orders or do anything until everybody sat down. No water, no coffee, no drink orders—nothing. She also said they could only take one order, and there were no add-ons. Like, if you wanted to add on afterward, it was a wrap—one order for the whole table. She wouldn’t explain why, but again, she was very nice. I just understood that those were their rules. Unique to me, but it is what it is.

I’mma show you everything I got, and we’re gonna try it one by one.

  • Peach Cobbler French Toast
  • Breakfast Bowl (eggs, bacon, cheese, and a biscuit)
  • Salmon Croquettes

The Peach Cobbler French Toast is separated, which I appreciate. It came with a shortcake topping. I think this is it—it’s just one block. Am I supposed to break it up myself? I don’t break it. This is like wheat bread or whole grain toast. It’s not my favorite thing, but it’s also not my least favorite. It’s all right. You can see where the French toast dipping absorbed into the bread—maybe 10% of the bread is coated in that French toast mix. The rest of it is just bread, and the peaches are the only thing that’s hot in this. 6 out of 10.

The Breakfast Bowl is just eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything is seasoned well. I’m not mad at that at all. Especially with some hot sauce, this would be real good. It’s a very basic breakfast, but with basic things, it’s kind of easy to mess up. I don’t think they messed this up. 7.5 out of 10.

Now, let’s see what this biscuit is talking about. No jelly, no syrup—some syrup on a biscuit? That’s crazy. Word. The butter costs a dollar. The butter! A dollar at a breakfast place. Swear to God. That’s like a little “he said, she said” situation. Any jelly for sure? It’s buttery, it’s salty. It’s a good biscuit, I just can’t swallow it—haha, it’s dry. But that’s like any biscuit, so I’m not faulting this biscuit specifically. But I am faulting… see, you hear how my words are coming out? But I am faulting the fact that it doesn’t come with jelly and butter—and that butter costs a dollar. That’s crazy.

Last but not least, the Salmon Croquette. It’s good. Is it? It’s good. I need some sauce, though. They gave me a little remoulade sauce—I just didn’t put it on at first. That’s much better. Now, let me see these grits. Got some seasoned grits. Mmm. The salmon by itself isn’t that seasoned, but with the remoulade sauce, these grits are buttery, salty, and thick. 7.8 out of 10.

This is my favorite thing from the first stop in Atlanta. I’m very interested to see what the rest of this trip holds. God bless you. Have an amazing day. Y’all be safe.
