Me and my family were driving around north of Virginia when we got this email. You can pause to read if you like. It was short and simple, straight to the point.
I got it. Let’s try it and rate it 1 to 10. We spent thirty-five dollars and eighty-two cents.
Before I get to customer service, this is one of the most unique concepts that I’ve seen in a long time. These chips we got from Walgreens—you bring your own chips and they fill it up with whatever toppings you want for $10. And apparently, no matter what size chips, it’s the same price. We got a big hefty bag. There you go. Look at that. That’s a lot of chips.
So, we got a small bag, a medium bag, and a large bag, and they were all $10. This is part of the public category. When you pull up, it was booming. Customer service—my family said it was extremely nice. But this did take about 30 minutes because, again, it was booming. Also, my family noted that the system could use a little bit of help, in our opinion, because they’re still making full gyros and other menu items while doing chips, so it’s a lot going on back there. There were only two people working at the time, so there’s so much going on. My family didn’t get a full customer service experience.
Nonetheless, I’mma show you everything I got, and we’re gonna try it and rate it 1 to 10. Sweet chili Doritos with green sauce, white sauce, and gyro meat. Fritos scoops with green sauce, white sauce, no cheese, and chicken. And Tostitos scoops with everything on it, with beef.
As you can see, I don’t got none in my hand because we’re still waiting on it. So, I’mma start with these. I really do like this concept. I like walking tacos, and I like nachos. I’mma try the toppings by themselves, without the chips. It’s surprisingly spicy. That’s a lot of flavor and seasoned really well, but it’s cold, and the temperature of it is really throwing me off. Like, the meat’s cold. The salsa’s cold. Is it cold or room temperature cold? Like fridge cold. Interesting.
Is it the chip? If you like spicy, I think you’ll like this. But I wouldn’t bring a spicy chip, personally, because the topping is already spicy. The green salsa is what? The green salsa is what? Spicy. Yes. You can tell me without it. I just broke a sweat. Absolutely. This gives me, like, football game kind of vibes.
In my opinion, this is a 7.5 out of 10.
Now, this is when I was talking about the scoops with the beef. I do appreciate they’re not lying. They literally said $10 whatever bag, and they mean that. It’s the beef. Definitely a plain chip. There’s so much flavor. I don’t think you need no flavor from the chip, in my opinion. That’s just a solid nacho. In my opinion, this is a 7.9 out of 10.
You can feed a whole family with this for $10. Yeah, and when I say a whole family, you can take this out of the bag and feed at least six or seven people. That’s a lot of food. Yeah.
I commend that. This is the chicken. I don’t like the chicken. I don’t know if they use the same seasonings, but if they did, they use a lot more on the chicken. I don’t know if you can see it, but the chicken is almost orange, and I’m not a huge fan of the seasoning, personally. In my opinion, this is a 3 out of 10.
Personally, I think the reason it’s so popular is because, again, you can feed six or seven people for $10, and there aren’t many places doing that.
